Billing FAQ

What counts as an "active member"?+
An active member is any person record in People that isn't archived or marked inactive during your billing period — staff, volunteers, and congregants alike. Visitors you haven't added yet, and profiles you've archived, never count toward your total.
How does proration work?+
You're never billed retroactively mid-cycle. If your member count or campus count grows, the new total is simply reflected on your next invoice. If you add a campus mid-cycle, we prorate the difference for the remainder of that period; downgrades take effect at your next renewal.
How does the annual discount work?+
Switch to annual billing anytime from Settings → Billing and get 15% off your monthly-equivalent rate, billed once a year instead of monthly. You can switch back to monthly at your next renewal.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes — there's no long-term contract. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing, or by emailing us. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep full access through the end of the period you already paid for, and you can export all of your data at any time.
Is there a setup fee?+
No setup fees, ever. We also do your data migration for free — bring your export from your current system and our team handles the import.
What happens if we grow mid-month?+
Nothing breaks and nobody gets locked out. EJAD doesn't cap seats or gate features by growth — your new member count is simply reflected on your next invoice at the same per-member rate.
